An anti-money laundering strategy aimed at cracking down on the financing of terrorism has been launched by Tánaiste and Minister for Finance Simon Harris, who warned that Ireland will “not be a safe place” to launder illicit funds.
In a press release published on Thursday, the Tánaiste said the policy underpins the “most significant strengthening” of the State’s financial crime framework in years.
