Independent MEP Michael McNamara has described the Medical Council’s fitness-to-practise proceedings against doctors who criticised Covid-19 restrictions as “ludicrous show trials”.
In comments to Gript, the Ireland South MEP said the hearings were “a last sting of a dying authoritarian wasp.”
