The German Police Union (DPolG) has told Chancellor Friedrich Merz that there is an “acute legislative need for action” regarding the country’s migration and citizenship laws following a deadly Islamist terrorist attack last weekend, urging reforms.
The Deutsche Polizeigewerkschaft (DPolG) is one of the major trade unions representing police officers and other law enforcement and public safety personnel in Germany. It is currently one of the biggest police unions in the country.
