A declaration before I start: I plan to run in the next general election as a candidate in the Dún Laoghaire constituency, where I would be opposing Jennifer Carroll MacNeill. It would be wrong of me to misuse my position here to unfairly run her down.
On top of that, I expect her to be leading Fine Gael and to be taoiseach by the next election.
