Trust in the national government in Ireland fell by six percent between 2021 and 2025, with trust in most aspects of the State and media declining over that period as well according to a new survey from the OECD.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published yesterday June 29 the results of its latest Drivers of Trust in Public Institutions survey, among the key findings of which was that “high or moderately high” trust in the Government fell from 51 percent in 2021 to 44 percent in 2025.
