A fitness to practice hearing in relation to Sydney Nagel, a vet who was contracted with a now disgraced dog pound, has heard that lethal substances used for euthanasia were stored at a public reception area in an unlocked drawer after being supplied by his practice.
Nagle, 67, pleaded guilty to two counts of causing or permitting someone other than a vet to possess or control Dolethal at earlier proceedings at the Circuit Criminal Court, where he was fined Є12,500 by Judge Martin Nolan.
