Another nonsense survey came yesterday, this time about women and cycling. We are to believe it is aggressive driver behaviour that is putting women off cycling and not the fact that cycling is a stupid and dangerous form of transport that makes you look a mess.
According to the Irish Times “aggressive driver behaviour, speeding, poor cycling infrastructure and the increased size of vehicles are deterring women from getting on their bikes, research by Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) has found”. It’s all the fault of the drivers.
