The allegations levelled against the Southern Poverty Law Center are nothing short of bombshell. Over $3 million secretly funnelled by a famously leftwing, antiracist charity to individuals associated with the very extremist organisations it ostensibly devoted so much effort to combating – like the Ku Klux Klan, to name but one.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said that the SPLC “stands accused of manufacturing and creating the very extremism it purports to oppose. Instead of dismantling extremism, Mr Blanche said, the SPLC “was funding it”.
