An Garda Síochána has told Gript that a man accused of burglary in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, on the 25th February 2026, has been brought before the courts.
A spokesperson said that, “Gardaí investigating a burglary at a domestic residence in Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath, on Wednesday, 25th February 2026, have charged a man, aged in his late 20s, in connection with the investigation.”
“The male will appear before Navan District Court today, Friday 27th February 2026, at 10.30 am,” the statement said.
“As this matter is before the courts, a Garda spokesperson is not available,” the statement concluded.
An article published by LMFM states that the man is 27-years-old, and that he is also facing a sexual offence charge; however, the information provided to Gript from An Garda Síochána omits this detail.
