There’s no point beating around the bush on this one: there’s nothing good about Dr Ebun Joseph’s recently released monitoring report on racial equality and racism in Ireland, from its rotten underlying assumptions about the country, to its corrosive practical recommendations.
It has tried Ireland and found it wanting – it remains systemically racist since the 2024 publication of the National Action Plan Against Racism (NAPAR) , and there’s quite simply not enough being done about it.
