An asylum seeker who became “verbally abusive” to members of An Garda Síochána as well as Dublin Fire Brigade crew during an incident at the Two Gateway asylum centre in East Wall, Dublin 3 appeared before Dublin District court this afternoon.
Algerian Zakaria Hitani (23), who currently resides in Tralee, County Kerry, on the 26th of October 2023 “impeded” members of the Gardaí and Fire Brigade who had attended an incident at the IPAS centre and “refused to leave” the scene before becoming “verbally abusive”.
