A State-funded NGO has published an “anti-racism” teaching toolkit for Irish schools, urging teachers to tell students as young as 13 that “illegal immigration doesn’t really exist,” and that statements such as “the only race is the human race” or “I don’t see colour” are, in fact, racist “microaggressions”.
The toolkit, developed by the Cork Migrant Centre, claims to provide schools with classroom resources to promote “intercultural competence” and “anti-racism”. The organisation receives public money from the Department of Equality and the Department of Justice.
