The Arts Council spent more than €74k on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives in 2024, excluding disability-related spending, according to figures released to Gript.
In a statement, the Arts Council said its EDI spending this year included €725.50 for events and once-off consultations, €7,300.05 for recurring annual research, €57,373.57 for “EDI Implementation Plan Projects”, and €8,745 for staff training. A dedicated EDI team was established in 2021.
