A study analyzing the relationship between Conflicts of Interest (COI) disclosures of climate research scientific publications, and their findings and recommendations, has found a significant correlation between NGO funding and the papers’ outcomes and recommendations. Â
“An important finding of our study is that NGO funding was positively associated with a finding of a positive association between climate change and geophysical characteristics of hurricanes,” a preprint of the study said.
