The role the United States’ alternative media space played in Donald Trump’s recent victory is widely acknowledged, even if it remains little understood. He took time out of his busy schedule to sit down for hours-long conversations with Elon Musk (via X spaces), podcasting king Joe Rogan, comedians Andrew Schulz and Theo Von, as well as a number of others I didn’t catch.
Some of those I didn’t watch/listen to included conversations with a former wrestler and sports show hosts, an appearance on a Twitch stream, as well as features with a number of high-profile YouTubers.
