A new total of 76 migrant tents now line the bank of Dublin’s Grand Canal – just one week after authorities cleared the old camp – and Taoiseach Simon Harris has denied that he said this would not be allowed to happen again.
The Taoiseach also said that the tent city on Mount Street brought the government “very, very, very close to a public health emergency being declared.”
