Ask any tourist to Ireland what they most love about the Emerald Isle and at least one of their answers is likely to be either the céad míle fáilte they received, or the greenery. Such has been my experience in chatting with enthusiastic Americans, anyway. It’s a shame, then, that we seem to be headed towards replacing 100,000 welcomes with 100,000 asylum centres – and taking a swing at our commitment to the environment too as we do so.
I exaggerate for effect of course, but only in part. While we may eventually have enormous asylum camps rather than 100,000 centres, the Government does seem fixated on bulldozing through asylum centres to the point where vital services to Irish people are also being swept aside.

Migrants are now being prioritised over ‘normal’ services that our taxes are supposed to pay for. This is the price of our ‘cultural enrichment’ – there’s plenty more of this to come from our morally bankrupt establishment.
It would appear many employers are being massivesly incentivised to be more diverse.
The ongoing rot in our society and workplaces in response to ‘diversity’ is increasing.
Just before last Christmas, my employer sent out an email wishing everyone in the company “Happy Holidays”. It’s his company and he can address employees as he likes. But I nearly spat out my mince pie when I read that. Obviously, I didn’t complain but I thought to myself “You’re from Cork for God’s sake.”
I am looking for a new job. I can’t be dealing with a ‘woke’ captured work environment.
stop bitching who voted them in
It’s your man from Sinn Fein/MI5 again! Would you mind using some punctuation, please, so I can fully understand your comment. Or is it a question?
Didn’t you?
Sinn Fein even glorifies McGuinness… how many Irish died because of him?
I am personally grieving the beautiful Ireland I grew up in. I grew up in the 80’s/90’s and I don’t recognise my country anymore, the mass immigration and influx of refugees has brought a detrimental impact on our society and our country as a whole. There is no joy, peace, happiness or safety amongst our own citizens any longer. We are all suffering from a sense of fear, threat and impending doom having over 1.1 million immigrants thrown in our country and the government are exploiting our passive nature and continuing to flood every county through the Emerald Isle. This is a war against our country, our democracy, our freedom and our safety. Those of us that protest are labelled “Far right scum” the gardai working on behalf of Helen McEntee & drew harris arrest decent law abiding citizens for exercising their constitutional rights to protest against this unwanted mass invasion and plantation. Their names, ages and home addresses are publicly listed in all media outlets whilst they fail to ever give these details of criminal immigrants that are committing real crimes. This is unconstitutional and illegal.
I’m glad you mentioned mass immigration. Many, even on here, say illegal immigrants only are the problem. The fact is, we have over a million legal of foreign descent in Ireland. The true figure is probably closer to 1.5 million.
Excellent point about the media failing to give similar details of criminal immigrants.
Don’t despair, you are not alone affected by this. There’s approx 80-90% of the population that were unwittingly duped into this. There is a lot of fear and anger out there and correctly so because the last time I looked, there was no mention of this in any of the elected party’s manifestos.
They’re saying this war and that war is why they’re under international obligations and all that.No – there has always been wars and this Country was never under any obligations because we remained neutral to world affairs and rightly so as it has nothing to do with us.
This is more sinister and this lot thats in government, either fell or are willing to fall at the first fence – they have their reasons & personally I’m not interested in their reasons.
The whole of Europe and America are in the same situation of mass migration of individuals that are not accustomed to the western way of life.
As to who is doing it and why – well that’s anyone’s guess – again not interested.
For now, I’d encourage you and anyone reading this, to vote nationalist parties/candidates.
The established parties are now your most worst imagined enemy. They are literally out to antihallate you, your family and generations of your family – they have chosen to take that route.
But don’t despair!! We are one and we have been in this situation before and most importantly,we will prevail because that’s what Irish people do
Mass migration has not benefited me in any way.
The recent decision by school boy Harris to recognise Hamas shows who runs this country. Every smug individual who thinks they are immune from what’s coming and that we will be different from other countries will owe their children a huge apology.
The craic and warm welcome has been replaced by sombre faced, unfunny, cold and rude replacements. Why would you come back? You can get rude anywhere else.
Polish women are generally pleasant and friendly, but Polish men are very dour and morose.
I have to say I once worked with a Polish man named Slawomir and found him to be one of the most pleasant workmates I ever encountered.
And barely concealed hatred from a lot of them. The Ireland I grew up in is gone and replaced by a cold economic zone.
@James Hogan
thanks James,
James, our nations have much more in common than one could initially realize, of course it doesn’t fit the agenda and it’s a pity that lower case edward already met all the millions of Poles and for whatever motive casted his daft judgement.
@Stephen
Imagine being old enough to remember the misery and violence of last century caused by an entrapment of sick dialectical ideologies that took generations to recover from just to see the same mutated malady being induced by large scale the same (!) powers and spreading throughout Europe all over again.
The Ireland you grew up in and I happily contributed to for many years is gone because a lot of your compatriots, perhaps even yourself, whether directly or indirectly participated in the process inter alia by indulging in easy money at the cost of their soul while embracing synthetic joyful corporate idiocy.
As for stereotypical temperament I wouldn’t be as dramatic to describe Poles as very dour and morose, maybe in your case it’s rather being full of contempt towards certain type that cannot stand up for themselves without bending over and assuming the position in order to hold onto the comfort of their wretched existence,
so if you have to cast stones from your glass house maybe go stand in front of the mirror do an examination of conscience and slap yourself.
In defense of Poles, nobody is perfect but I can bet you never seen them on posters or tv telling you how to live, pretending to be more Irish than the Irish. The ones I met during my stay in Ireland consider themselves guests and have same respect for the core Irish values and as much love for the beautiful Irish country as it’s proud people that often sacrificed everything in order to have that freedom.
Snap out of it, you are being manipulated into shifting blame towards people that are your friends,
remember that if you don’t know who you are and don’t know who is your enemy you will lose every battle.
All the best,
Éirinn go Brách
If the electricity supply becomes horribly more expensive and there are black-outs, due to the over-demand caused by the replacement process, and ridiculously expensive and unnecessary ‘Green’ policies, the FFG regime should be held directly accountable by the people.
If there was a person in your neighbourhood who hated you and threatened your way of life and culture would you invite him to live in your home? This is what the Irish government is doing. They are overseeing the destruction of our country and culture. Irish people have an innate right to resist their oppression.
GAA pitches next?
Probably primary and secondary schools since there won’t be any teachers
no ,their all in the fecking dail !!
was looking at the ‘ candidates lists ‘ at clonmel town hall the other day while waiting for them to open ,( i stupidly expected them to be open at 9am as stated on the doors and their website ,only to be told by a passer by ” they never open before 9.30′” )
borougher by borougher there were at LEAST 3 candidates per list who had ‘teacher, head teacher, child development educater or some other discription as their occupation .
The GAA has fully embraced diversity. They’ll reap what they sow.
if theres a whiff of a pound the gaa will be round !!
Our beautiful country been giving away to these vermin and they are laughing right at us..if you want gangs of illegal immergrants standing in every corner In Ireland drug dealing targeting young children while the piggys turn a blind eye and nothing gets reported not even their names while a few protesters are taking to court named & shamed by the corrupt RTE …please please don’t vote for FG or FF you need to get those clowns out ..no wonder varakar and covney did a runner..they sold us out from our country
I’m not sure this is true? There’s a refugee centre right beside the recycling centre. Correct me if I’m wrong but it would seem crazy to close down the recycling centre for any length of time for refugees. Is the closure just to do with the place beside it. Obviously the protests were outside the refugee centre which shares an entrance with the dump, so I think there’s some confusion.
We need a policy of total disobedience! Where are all those unions these days?
